Khenpo Gangshar Rangdrol Wangpo (1925-1958/1959). He was a teacher connected with Shechen and Trangu Monasteries, and was the master of Surmang Trungpa Rinpoche. He was the root teacher of both Chögyam Trungpa and Thrangu Rinpoche, and also one of Dezhung Rinpoche's teachers.
