Biographical Information

Subhūticandra lived at Vikramaśīla monastery. He was a contemporary of Abhayākaragupta, author of the Kāmadhenu commentary on the Amarakośa (= AK), and also a member of the committee responsible for the Tibetan translation of the Āryasaddharmasmṛtyupasthānasūtra.
