Biographical Information
Subhūticandra lived at Vikramaśīla monastery. He was a contemporary of Abhayākaragupta, author of the Kāmadhenu commentary on the Amarakośa (= AK), and also a member of the committee responsible for the Tibetan translation of the Āryasaddharmasmṛtyupasthānasūtra. He is said to have been an expert in linguistics, poetry, and the syntactic structures of Sanskrit. (Source Accessed Aug 31, 2021)
