Tshe dbang given by sgom-chen po-bzo bla-ma.
Taught to read and write by his maternal uncle: dom-tsha dbon-po.
Rab-'byams-pa karma-snying-rje and sgrub-chen karma-don-grub sent by chos-dbyings-rdo-rje to look after the affairs of his recognition.
Given gifts by phag-mo zhabs-drung and 'bram-ra sku-skyes.
Ordination at yul-klung in rab-sgang before chos-dbyings-rdo-rje, kun-tu-bzang-po, and mnga'ris rab-'byams-pa karma-zab-gsal.
Chiefly known as a meditator.
