|BiographicalInfo=Khenpo Gangshar Rangdrol Wangpo (1925-1958/1959). He was a teacher connected with Shechen and Trangu Monasteries, and was the master of Surmang Trungpa Rinpoche. He was the root teacher of both [[Chögyam Trungpa]] and [[Thrangu Rinpoche]], and also one of [[Dezhung Rinpoche]]'s teachers.
