Biographical Information
Pasang Wangdu is Professor of Tibetan History at the Tibetan Academy of Social Sciences in Lhasa, and concurrently the Director of the Academy's Nationalities Research Institute. He is the author of numerous works on Tibetan history including the recent translation (with Hildegard Diemberger) of the Dba' bzhed. (Source: Territory and Identity in Tibet and the Himalayas, 350)
