Biographical Information
Oliver Petersen, born in 1961, is a teacher of Buddhism at the Tibetan Center eV, Hamburg, which is under the patronage of the Dalai Lama. He has been working there since 1980. Between 1983-1999 he was ordained as a Buddhist monk and disciple of Geshe Thubten Ngawang. Today he leads meditation seminars and study courses for the center and works as a speaker, translator and in interreligious dialogue.
