Biographical Information

Marion L. Matics, who holds a Ph.D. in the history and philosophy of religion from Columbia University, has been visiting professor at Columbia University and at Brooklyn College. He is a lay member of Labsum Shedrub Ling, the Lamaist Buddhist Monastery of America; a member of The Buddhist Society (London); The American Oriental Society; and The American Academy of Religion.
