Biographical Information
MacKenzie specializes in Buddhist and Indian philosophy, philosophy of mind, and metaphysics. His research takes a cross-cultural, interdisciplinary approach to questions of consciousness, selfhood, and embodiment. He has published in numerous journals, including Philosophy East & West, Asian Philosophy, Journal of Consciousness Studies, and Phenomenology and the Cognitive Sciences. He has also contributed book chapters to The Oxford Handbook of Virtue and The Bloomsbury Handbook of Indian Metaphysics and Epistemology, among other books in cross-cultural philosophy of mind.
