Biographical Information
Douglas Burns, M.D. was an American psychiatrist who intensely studied and practiced Buddhism in Thailand. He was last seen in Bangkok in 1975 before leaving on a trip to southern Thailand. He was presumed dead, but mystery surrounds his disappearance. (Source Accessed April 6, 2019)
