Biographical Information
George D. Bond (Ph.D., Northwestern University, 1972) is an associate professor in the Department of the History and Literature of Religion at Northwestern University. He is the author of The Word of the Buddha: The Tipi.taka and Its Interpretation in Theraviida Buddhism and coeditor of Sainthood in World Religions.
