bio Eric Fry-Miller is a PhD student at the University of Virginia (UVA) who specializes in translating Tibetan Buddhist texts into English.

Eric previously attended Indiana University Bloomington. His translation work focuses primarily on Tibetan Buddhist texts, particularly from the Nyingma tradition. He has translated teachings from the Yangzab treasure cycle revealed in the 16th century, and has worked on translating empowerments and teachings he received from various Tibetan lamas including Garchen Rinpoche, Lho Ontul Rinpoche, and Lamchen Gyalpo Rinpoche. He operates a website called Buddha Visions where he shares his translations and sells books of rare and previously untranslated Buddhist texts.

His translation projects include works on advanced Dzogchen practices, the Six Dharmas of Naropa, and various texts from masters like Longchenpa.
