bio | Professor Craig J. Reynolds is a historian of Southeast Asia, particularly the mainland countries. His PhD and MA students have written on Burma, Japan, Laos, Malaya, Thailand and Vietnam. Many of these students have returned to teach and work in the countries of their birth.
Craig first encountered Asia as a Peace Corps volunteer in Thailand where he taught English from 1963-1965 in the southern provincial town of Krabi. His current research on the legendary policeman from Nakhon Si Thammarat, Khun Phantharakratchadet, has taken him back to southern Thailand. (Source Accessed July 20, 2023) |
