Diana Winston is the founder of the Buddhist Alliance for Social E n gagement (BASE) program, and the former associate director of BPF. She is a writer and activist, and teaches dharma and socially engaged Buddhism to youth and adults internationally. She is the author o f Wide Awake: A Buddhist Guide for Teens (Perigee, 2003).
