He completed his MA in Religious Studies at the University of Missouri-Columbia, writing the thesis entitled "The Buddha Said That Buddha Said So: A Translation and Analysis of "Pūrvayogaparivarta" from the Ratnaketu Dhāraṇī Sūtra.
