bio	Ashwani Peetush is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario. His research areas encompass ethics, political philosophy, and Indian philosophy; particular themes of interest include human rights, pluralism, and the metaphysics of the self and consciousness in Advaita Vedānta and Buddhism.
