Alan Senauke was executive director of the Buddhist Peace Fellowship from 1991 through 2001 and continues to be active as BPF's senior advisor. A Soto Zen priest, he received dharma transmission from Sojun Mel Weitsman Roshi. He lives with his wife, Laurie, and their two children at the Berkeley Zen Center in California. In another realm, Alan is well known as a performer (singer and guitarist) of American traditional music. His recent album is Wooden Man (Native and Fine Records, 2002 ) .
