bio	Jens W. Borgland is a historian of religion, philologist and Sanskrit critic, with a broad interest in Indian religion, philosophy and language. His scientific activity mainly deals with illuminating the history of Indian religion - with a special focus on Indian Buddhism - through philological studies of sources in Sanskrit, Pali, Tibetan and Chinese.
