bio	Jaakko Takkinen is a PhD candidate in Religious Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His areas of interest include Buddhist Studies, Tibetan Studies, Tibetan Buddhism and Medicine. He received an MA in South Asian Studies from the University of Helsinki in 2010 and a BA in South Asian Studies and Social and Cultural Anthropology from the University of Helsinki in 2008.
