[He] became the mchod yon of the Sa-skyong Sde-dge and [was] involved in the carving of the Rnying ma rgyud 'bum, [the] gsung 'bum of 'Jigs-med-gling-pa, and of Klong-chen Rab-'byams-pa. [He] instituted the sgrub mchod connected with the Bka' ma. [He is also believed to have] carried the funeral offerings of the Dri-med-zhing-skyong to Lhasa and [to have] met the 8th Dalai Lama who was in retreat. [He] founded Dge-rtse Bkra-legs Dgon-pa with a thousand monks. This was in the Byang-phyogs. [He] spread the KaH-thog tradition in 'Gu-log, Rgyal-rong, Nyang-rong, Bzhag-sar, etc., and restored many Rnying-ma-pa monasteries. Mongol and other rulers in the neighborhood much respected him.
