  • 2016-present: Translation for 84000 of The Noble Great Vehicle Sūtra: Teaching the Conduct of a Bodhisattva (Skt. Āryabodhisatvatsaryanirdeśanāmamahāyānasūtra, Tib. ’phags pa byang chub sems dpa’i spyod pa bstan pa shes bya ba theg pa chen po’i mdo)
  • 2016-present: Translation for 84000: Checking English translation of Mañjuśrīmūlakalpa against the Tibetan text ('phags pa 'jam dpal gyi rtsa ba'i rgyud).
  • 2015: Translation for 84000 of The Noble Mahāyāna Sūtra: Distinguishing Between Phenomena and Reality (Skt. Āryadharmārthavibhāganāmamahāyānasūtra, Tib. ’phags pa chos dang don rnam par ’byed pa zhes bya ba theg pa chen po’i mdo).
  • 2014: Editing Tsoknyi Rinpoche’s Open Heart, Open Mind in Russian.

MA in Buddhist Studies, Kathmandu University Centre for Buddhist Studies at the Rangjung Yeshe Institute. Thesis: "Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and the Nonsectarian Movement: A Critical Look at Representations of 19th Century Tibetan Buddhism."

Biographical Information

Anna (a.k.a. Anya) holds a MA degree in Buddhist Studies from the Kathmandu University Centre for Buddhist Studies at the Rangjung Yeshe Institute. Her MA thesis was entitled: “Jamyang Khyentse Wangpo and the Nonsectarian Movement: A Critical Look at Representations of 19th Century Tibetan Buddhism”.

Anna joined the BA program at RYI in 2007, and the Translator Training Program (TTP) in 2008 and has been teaching in RYI since 2009 as a language instructor in the TTP. She has been the a manager of the TTP since 2010. Anna also interprets for a variety of different teachers from Tibetan into English and Russian. (Source Accessed Sept 30, 2020)
