bio Joe Bransford Wilson is Associate Professor of Asian Philosophy and Religion at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He received his Ph.D. in Religious Studies (specializing in Tibetan Buddhism) from the University of Virginia in 1984. He is the author of Translating Buddhism from Tibetan, as well as number of articles dealing with Indian and Tibetan Buddhist philosophy.
