bio	Lama Phurbu Tashi Rinpoche was born in Tibet in 1973. In his early childhood he was recognized as a tulku, the reincarnation of Tsatsa Khenpo Thubten, and invited to further his monastic and secular studies. In 1990 he travelled to India to further his monastic and secular studies at Drepung Monastery and the Nalanda Institute for Higher Buddhist Studies. From 2000 to 2003, he undertook the three-year Karma Kagyu retreat in Darjeeling under the direction of Kyabje Bokar Rinpoche. Today he is the resident teachings in Europe, Indonesia and China.
