Biographical Information
Joaquín Pérez-Remon was a Jesuit missionary in India who taught Oriental Philosophy and was the chair of the History of Religions at the Jesuit University of Deusto (Bilbao). He is the author of several books, including Misticismo Oriental y Misticismo Cristiano (Bilbao, 1985), The Self and the Production of Pleasure and Pain in Early Buddhism (A.E.O. 1981), and Self and Non-Self in Early Buddhism (De Gruyter, 1980).
