bio	Margarita Kleibel is a scholar of Indian Buddhist philosophy and Sanskrit philology trained at the University of Vienna, where she completed her Diplomarbeit (Mag. phil.) in 2010 under the supervision of Klaus-Dieter Mathes. Her thesis presented a German translation of Prajñākaramati's ninth-century Sanskrit commentary on the Bodhicaryāvatāra, the Bodhicaryāvatārapañjikā, focusing on verses 8.1–39 of Śāntideva's root text, accompanied by a critical edition drawing on Sanskrit manuscripts and Tibetan Tengyur sources. Her philological training included manuscript studies under Karin Preisendanz. She conducted her research within the University of Vienna's program in Indian Studies and Buddhist philosophy, in collaboration with scholars including Anne MacDonald and Bruno Lainé.
