bio	Janārdana (Tib. mkhan po dza na rdA na, Khenpo Janārdana; also rendered Janardhana, Jārandana), known in Tibetan translation as Ye shes byin, was an Indian paṇḍita who flourished between 950 and 1050 CE. He is recorded as a teacher of the renowned translator Lo chen Rinchen Zangpo (958–1055), one of the most prolific and influential figures of the later diffusion (phyi dar) of Buddhism in Tibet, placing Janārdana among the Indian paṇḍitas active during the period of Rinchen Zangpo's studies.
