bio Chag lo tsā ba dge slong Dgra bcom (personal name: Tshul khrims shes rab, 1153–1216) was a Tibetan translator and the first of the four translators of the Chag lineage. He was born in Chag grong, the son of Mes bkra shis dga' ba, and received his first vows from Gu ru ba Chag ston chen po Rin chen tshul khrims. He received teachings from Steng lo Tshul khrims 'byung gnas, Mkhan po Dar ma brtson 'grus, Bshes gnyen Shāk grub, Gtsang dkar ba, and others. His teacher is listed as Steng pa lo tsā ba Tshul khrims 'byung gnas sbas pa, and his students included Grum ston Dar ma shes rab, Chag lo tsā ba Chos rje dpal, and Grub thob Gtsang zhig pa.
