bio	Alaṅkadeva (Tib. A lang+ka de ba) was an Indian paṇḍita who flourished in the 12th century. He worked as a cotranslator with Tengpa Lotsāwa Tsultrim Jungne (1107–1190), and is recorded as Tengpa Lotsāwa's teacher. He is credited with several works preserved in the Tengyur, including the Bhagavatyāmnāyānusāriṇīnāmavyākhyā (Tib. Bcom ldan 'das ma'i man ngag gi rjes su 'brang ba zhes bya ba'i rnam par bshad pa; D 3811), a 12th-century commentary on the Aṣṭasāhasrikāprajñāpāramitāsūtra attributed to Jagaddalanivāsin (also rendered Jagattatalar).
