bio Sūryagupta, also known as Ravigupta, was a Kashmiri adept that cured himself of leprosy and achieved realization through a series of pure vision encounters with Tārā. In the Tibetan tradition he is mostly known for his iconographic tradition for the Praises to the Twenty-One Tārās.
