Steven is manager of the Tibetan and Himalayan Library overall, and project manager for reference projects, the Tibetan Canonical Collections project, and the Journal of the International Association of Tibetan Studies. He received his PhD in Tibetan and Buddhist Studies from the University of Virginia in 2003. His dissertation focused on The Compendium of Principles Tantra (De kho na nyid bsdus pa, Tattvasaṃgraha) and the Yoga Tantra corpus, particularly its development, history, and importance. (Source)
