Jack Kornfield, Vipassana teacher, cofounded the Insight Meditation Society in Barre, Massachusetts, and Spirit Rock Meditation Center in Woodacre, California. He lives near Spirit Rock, where he is a guiding teacher. His books on dharma practice include A Path with Heart (Bantam Books, 1993) and After the Ecstasy the Laundry (Bantam Books, 2001).
