Joan Tollifson writes and talks with people about the nature o f reality. She has an affinity with Zen and Advaita but belongs to no formal tradition. She is the author of Awake in the Heartland: The Ecstasy of What Is (Trafford, 2003) , and Bare-Bones Meditation: Waking Up from the Story of My Life (Three Rivers Press, 1996).
