Fleet Maull founded both the National Prison Hospice Association and the Prison Dharma Network. He is a meditation teacher in the Shambhala Buddhist tradition and a Zen Peacemaker priest. He was released from prison in 1999 and now lives in Boulder, Colorado, where he teaches socially engaged Buddhism at Naropa University.
